Zach is US-bound too! ザックも帰っちゃうんだ（泣）

Perhaps I should just rename this blog "The Various Farewells of Trevor"... because it seems as though half of my posts are about people leaving the island. I guess that's life in Okinawa, though. Well last night we all got together to celebrate the graduation (and soon departure) of Zach Ruiz, eldest son of Pastor Tom. Zach has been such a blast to be around these past 3 years. He's one of the main guys in our fantasy sports leagues, one of the best artists (especially during church services, ), and definitely a sweet rhythm-keeper on the cajon during worship. He's also a super-big brother to Hannah, Michal and Asa. I know that everyone at Calvary Chapel Ginowan will miss Zakkie dearly, and will be praying for him often. Hey Zach, keep on following the Lord's high calling on your life while you're in California! We'll miss you but know that you're family and that we'll meet sometime down the road. If not on this earth, then in the Party in the Sky! God bless you as you study His Word and ways in the States!


マジで？ザックはアメリカに行くの？そうです、トム牧師の長男は高校卒業してアメリカの神学校に行く予定だよ。土曜日は教会の仲間たちが集まって、ザックのためにお祝いしました。バーベキューがあって、おいしい料理やケーキもあって、楽しいゲームもして最高のパーティーだった。ザック君、アメリカに行っても主の御心を慕って歩んでください！そして機会があれば沖縄に遊びにきてよ！
