Last night was Nate's last night on island. At least until the day he gets called back here, which I definitely am hoping for! Anyways, Nate has been one of my closest friends over the past year or so, particularly the past 6 months. We have gotten together often to reflect on life, eat good food, and we even had a tennis match that rivals Connors-McEnroe, and even Sampras-Agassi matchups of old! Well anyways, last night after church, I went and hung out at the Josh house with Nate. We talked one last time about all the usual stuff. We prayed together, exchanged little gifts (mostly stuff we already had but just wanted to share), and took pictures. Nate, I will miss you buddy! If I am ever in California, I will make a point to head down to San Diego!
僕の大親友のシックス・セブン・ネートは今日、沖縄を離れてしまいました。ちなみに、そのあだ名は数字の６，７，８に音が似ていて、ネートさんの身長は６フィート７インチ（約２００cm）。なので、シックス・セブン・エートじゃなくて、シックス・セブン・ネートです。一昨年の１０月に出会ってからこの人の心の大きさは正に身長の大きさにふさわしいっていうことがわかった。ネートはいつも優しくて、楽しくて、思いやりですごい良いムードメーカーです。昨夜は最後におしゃべりの時間や祈りの時間をもって、ビタースイートな（英語の表現だけど、ほろ苦いって意味を持っているよ）時間だった。もちろんネートが残って欲しいけど、次の仕事場でがんばって欲しいです。ネート、たくさんの思い出をありがとう！これからお互いのために祈っていこう！（って、ネートが読めるわけないけどなぁ。。。）

Ah, brother Nate. I will never forget this tall guy. The tallest person I have ever met in my life! It's really a blessing for me to have known you even for a short time. The best time was witnessing you demonstrating some martial arts at Tsuken house. Take care brother. The Lord is always be with you.
