My E-mail update - Online!

Hey all, I write updates and send them via e-mail roughly once a month. I will start posting them here so that more people (prayerfully) can read them and pray for me, and praise God for all the good things He does! So without further ado, here it is:

Dear brothers, sisters, and loved ones in the Lord,

It has been a while since I last wrote you. My apologies for not being diligent and persistent in my updates. This one will be quick, as there is not much that needs to be shared in detail. Right now I just need your prayer. Within the next month, I will have to make a decision about my job for the future. My contract expires on March 25th, and if I choose to (that is, if it’s God’s will) I can continue at my current position. It is an easy job that gives me a lot of free time to study God’s Word, prepare lessons for my other work, and so on. But I do not know if God wants me to stay there and be merely “content” in my work. As it stands right now, my schedule is quite full: I am teaching part-time on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Saturday afternoons. I am also teaching at church twice a month on Sunday evenings. There are other things on my schedule as well, and I find myself fighting to tread water. Pray that the Lord would point out to me what I need to continue to do, what I need to cut out, and what new things I need to take on. I do not want to put God in a box and say, “Well He gave me this job to provide for my needs, so this is where I will stay. I also do not want to be complacent in my walk. He wants to take me to greater heights, and He wants to do the same in your lives, too.

Anyways, I would love to hear any feedback you might have. It’s always great to hear from you, and I know that God will bless you for your intercessory prayer on my behalf. Thank you!

In Christ’s love,

Trevor

Joining the masses

Hi everyone! My name is Trevor. I live in Okinawa. I am from Canada. I love Jesus. Now I have a blog, like everyone and their dog. (I'm a poet, and yes, I do know it!) Check my profile to find out more about me. Here's a pic of me taken with my webcam. I don't have a digital camera right now (mine's broken) so pictures might be sparse for awhile. But please keep checking in - I hope to update whenever I can!
